In June 2018 the popular French garden event 'Rendez-vous aux jardins' took place in Germany for the first time! Parks and gardens throughout Germany opened their doors for a "rendezvous in the garden". German, French and another 14 neighbors - including the Netherlands, Lithuania, Hungary, Croatia and Ireland – celebrated the common heritage of a diverse garden culture.
In 2019, the event will be repeated from 7 to 9 June. Garden and parks can participate by submitting their event between 5 and 19 March. Please reach out to the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gartenkunst und Landschaftskultur" DGGL via info@DGGL.org.
