What should remain? The variety of cultural tradition

Europe: Heritage Lived Regensburger Bibliotheksverbund

The European Cultural Heritage Year 2018 has the major theme Sharing Heritage. The European Commission invites to make the European cultural heritage more visible and to share our culture with others. A variety of colourful and inventive activities shows that we Europeans have in common a cultural heritage. It also becomes clear that we share the responsibility of this heritage and that we have a great number of institutions which make this cultural heritage accessible as network and keep our culture alive.

The event series What should remain? The variety of cultural tradition which has been jointly gathered by the members of the Regensburg Library Network will run throughout the year 2018 in many individual activities and events. It shows that according to the Sharing Heritage we do have a tight network of general and specialised municipal, public, church-run and other institutions which share in collaboration the cultural heritage of Regensburg.
