Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe / European Students' Forum (AEGEE) & European Students' Association for Cultural Heritage (ESACH)

The ESACH (European Students' Association for Cultural Heritage) was founded on the occasion of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. In short, ESACH intends to fill this year with life by organising lecture series, excursions and heritage-related workshops at European universities. On top of that, our initiative is supposed to lay the foundation for a lasting network of students and young researchers, who want to share our common cultural heritage and thereby contribute to the formation of a common European identity.

AEGEE (Association des États Généraux des Étudiants de l’Europe) is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations. It's a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation, founded in 1985 in Paris. AEGEE puts the idea of a unified Europe into practice by operating without a national level. AEGEE empowers students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. It creates a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as acts as their representative towards decision-makers. Moreover, AEGEE strengthens mutual understanding and brings Europe closer to young people.
