The winners of the 2018 EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards, Europe’s top honour in the field, will present and discuss their outstanding heritage achievements during the Excellence Fair on 21 June at the Allianz Forum in Berlin. Organised by Europa Nostra and the European Commission with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, the Excellence Fair is among the main events of the European Cultural Heritage Summit that will be held in Berlin from 18-24 June.
The 30 winners of the 2018 edition of the Awards from all over Europe will share their exemplary accomplishments in conservation, research, dedicated service, and education, training and awareness-raising. As a contribution to the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the heritage achievements recognised in 2018 have a significant European dimension.
The Excellence Fair will take place both in the morning and afternoon of 21 June. A networking session will create an occasion for further discussion among the event’s participants.
The winners will receive the 2018 EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards during a high-profile event on the evening of 22 June at the Berlin Congress Centre.
